Music Ministry

The Knightdale UMC Music Ministries is a community of believers led to share their talents, enhancing worship through praise and worship.  The ministries offer opportunities for fellowship, discipleship, and service.

 

Music Ministries hold a very special place in worship, in both traditional and contemporary forms. Music groups, like those at KUMC, reflect the Church as the Body of Christ. They are a path of service where many individuals are able to come together as one and use their unique gifts to bring glory to God. They are a living, breathing, and singing/playing (🎶☺🎶) example of what the church is and should be.  

 

The music we offer is a core act of worship, involving all.  It gives us a chance to communicate with God when spoken words fall short.  It is an opportunity to join together in a unique way for unified prayer.  Hearts can be touched with music, which otherwise might seem unreachable.  Salvation can be found for those who find God amidst the notes.  Amazing things happen when we offer our talents for music to be used for service unto our Lord.  When we focus on God and offer musical worship unto Him, He is present in that song.  

 

What a humbling and awesome honor to be called to this ministry for our Heavenly Father! ​
